Administrate and support IT tools and related infrastructure including:
Configuration of Devices ,Applications ,Servers on Monitoring Tools such as
OpManager, vRealize Operations Manager, ThousandEyes, vRealize LogInsight and Dynatrace.
Manage and upgrade vRealize Operations Manager Infrastructure and management pack
Level 3 troubleshooting of enterprise monitoring infrastructure for any issues related to monitoring including false positives, connectivity issues from monitoring server to device being monitored etc.
4+ years overall work experience in IT Tech Ops organizations in supporting worldwide enterprise infrastructure, systems, and applications.
3+ years of experience in Tools or Automation domain.
Technical Support experience of 3+ years preferably in Enterprise Monitoring Environment.
Administrative knowledge of at least two out of below list monitoring tools:
OpManager, vRealize Operations Manager, ThousandEyes, Catchpoint, vRealize LogInsight and Dynatrace
Experience in virtualization technology including knowledge on VMware datacenter and network solutions.
Experience of monitoring servers, application, and components from different cloud providers like AWS, Azure etc.
Experience in building reports, for example: Availability, performance, and capacity reports.
Experience in troubleshooting enterprise incidents/outages using monitoring tools to provide feedback to service owners regarding abnormal trends in monitoring like high response time, latency in DB query time etc.
Working experience in a global environment with teams located in multiple regions.
Understanding of threshold and alert creation with the given monitoring tool(s).
Knowledge about SNMP traps and converting them in meaningful alerts.
Understanding of Unix/Linux working environment and shell scripting for troubleshooting.
Performance and capacity management experience on Windows as well as Linux environment.
Knowledge on dashboards, policies, application, metrics, and suite API within vRealize Operations Manager
Adaptability of new monitoring tools and platform.
Adaptability to support and work in 24x7 environment.
Knowledge of Virtualization and VMware solutions LIKE vSphere, vRealize Operations Manager, vRealize LogInsight, Tanzu Observability and vRealize Network Insight
Good experience on MS Excel, formula, pivot tables, chart creation.
OpManager Certified Professional SCP is preferable.
Cisco Certified Network Associate CCNA is preferable
IT certification ITIL foundation or equivalent is preferable.
